Warranty

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or damage caused by improper use. If you experience a defect within the warranty period, contact our team and we will assist you.

Product & Materials

What materials are Clicöt watches made from?

Clicöt watches feature stainless steel cases and bracelets, mineral crystal glass, and genuine leather or stainless steel straps depending on the model. All materials are selected for durability, comfort, and everyday wearability. Full material specifications are listed on each individual product page.

What movements do Clicöt watches use?

Clicöt watches use reliable Japanese quartz movements selected for their accuracy, durability, and low maintenance. Depending on the model, movements may include the Miyota 2035, Seiko VD53, or other precision Japanese quartz calibres. Quartz movements are valued for their dependable timekeeping, long battery life, and ease of use.

Can I change the strap on my Clicöt watch?

Many Clicöt watches use standard lug widths, which means compatible third-party straps can be swapped in easily using a spring bar tool. Check the product page for your specific model's lug width. If you are unsure, contact us and we will help you find a compatible option.

Water Resistance

Are Clicöt watches waterproof?

Clicöt watches are water-resistant, not waterproof. Water-resistance ratings vary by collection and model. Some models are rated at 5 ATM (50 metres), while others, such as watches in the Opus Collection, offer up to 20 ATM (200 metres) of water resistance. Always check the specifications on the product page for your specific watch before exposing it to water

What do your water-resistance ratings mean?

Water resistance varies by model. A 5 ATM rating is suitable for everyday exposure such as rain, hand washing, and splashes. Models with higher ratings, such as 20 ATM, are designed for significantly greater water exposure. Always refer to your watch's product page for its specific water-resistance rating and recommended use.

Can I wear my Clicöt watch in the shower?

We generally recommend removing your watch before showering. Hot water, steam, soaps, and shampoos can gradually affect seals and gaskets over time, regardless of the watch's water-resistance rating. Following the manufacturer's care recommendations will help maximize the lifespan of your watch.

Sizing & Fit

What size are Clicöt watches?

Clicöt watches are available in case sizes ranging from 36mm to 42mm depending on the model and collection. Exact dimensions — including case diameter, thickness, and lug width — are listed on each product page. If you are unsure which size is right for you, our sizing guide can help.

How do I know which case size is right for me?

A good starting point is wrist circumference: wrists under 16cm tend to suit 36–38mm cases; wrists 16–18cm work well with 38–40mm; wrists over 18cm can carry 40–42mm comfortably. That said, case size is also a matter of personal style — a 36mm dress watch and a 42mm statement piece can both look intentional depending on how you wear them.

The bracelet I received is too large. What do I do?

Stainless steel bracelets can be sized by removing links. Most jewellers and watch repair shops offer this service quickly and inexpensively. You can also purchase a bracelet link removal tool online if you prefer to do it yourself. If you need guidance on your specific model, contact us and we will help.

Choosing a Watch

What is the difference between the collections?

Clicöt offers four main collections, each designed with a different style and purpose in mind.

Classic Collection features timeless designs that balance versatility and sophistication, making them suitable for both everyday wear and special occasions.

Minimalist Collection focuses on clean lines, simplicity, and understated elegance for those who prefer a refined look.

Timeless Elegance Collection is designed for dress wear and formal occasions, offering a polished and sophisticated aesthetic.

Opus Collection features bold designs inspired by mythology and symbolism, created for those who want a watch that makes a statement.

If you're unsure which collection is right for you, consider how and where you'll wear your watch most often. Each collection offers a unique personality while staying true to the Clicöt philosophy that time is more than something we measure — it's something we experience.

Are Clicöt watches better as dress watches or everyday watches?

Both. The Timeless Elegance collection is designed with formal and dress occasions in mind, while the Minimalist collection excels as a clean, versatile everyday watch. Opus models are bold enough to anchor a casual or smart-casual outfit. Most customers find their Clicöt watch transitions naturally between contexts — which is part of the point.

I want to buy a watch as a gift. Where do I start?

Start with the Curated Sets — they pair a watch with a complementary accessory and arrive gift-ready. If you prefer to choose a single watch, consider the recipient's style: Minimalist for someone who prefers clean and simple, Opus for someone who gravitates toward bolder pieces, Timeless Elegance for a formal or sentimental occasion. All Clicöt orders are packaged with care.

About Clicöt

What is Clicöt and where is it from?

Clicöt is a Canadian watch brand founded in Montreal, Quebec. The brand was built around the belief that a watch is more than a timekeeping device — it is a reminder. Every Clicöt watch is designed to carry meaning, whether that means marking a milestone, honouring a chapter of life, or simply choosing to wear something that reflects who you are.

Where are Clicöt watches made?

Clicöt was founded in Montreal, Canada, where the brand's collections and philosophy were created. Manufacturing and assembly are handled by trusted overseas partners, and every watch is carefully inspected before being shipped to a customer.

Who founded Clicöt?

Clicöt was founded by Patrick Gaudet, who built the brand around a deep passion for watches and the belief that time is one of the most powerful symbols we carry. The philosophy of Clicöt — that time is not just something we measure, but something we move through, heal with, and grow from — is reflected in everything from the collections to the name itself.

What makes Clicöt different from other watch brands?

Many watch brands focus solely on telling time. Clicöt was built around the idea that a watch can also tell a story. Every collection is designed with purpose, every model carries a meaningful name, and the philosophy of Time Fixes Everything is woven throughout the brand. We create watches for people who want more than an accessory — they want a reminder of where they've been, what they've overcome, and where they're going next.

THE TIME FIXES EVERYTHING PHILOSOPHY

What does "Time Fixes Everything" mean?

Time Fixes Everything is the philosophy that sits at the heart of Clicöt. It is not a platitude — it is an acknowledgement that growth, healing, and clarity come with time. The brand was built on the belief that some things can only be understood in retrospect, and that the passage of time — however difficult — has a way of bringing meaning to moments we could not make sense of while living them. Every Clicöt watch is a quiet reminder of that.

Why are Clicöt watches named after mythological figures?

Mythology is one of humanity's oldest attempts to make sense of time — creation, fate, transformation, and legacy are woven through every tradition. Clicöt draws on that lineage intentionally. Names like Odin, Cronus, Morpheus, and Rhea carry thousands of years of meaning. Naming a watch after a mythological figure is a way of connecting the everyday act of checking the time to something much larger — the stories we have always told ourselves about what time means.
